2021 Upcoming Webinars
Tuesday, May 25th from 4-5pm: Utah's Environmental Literacy Plan - Crafting a Framework for Environmental Knowledge
Join USEE to get an update on the ELP process, learn about the tools & strategies we used to develop our listening sessions, and hear about the next steps in this project. We'll share how we have incorporated the NAAEE Guidelines for Community Engagement into our work and how you can use this tool at your organization. This webinar is free to attend.
Monday, August 16th from 2-3pm: Strategic Self-Care: An Activity to Turn Survival into Sanity
Educators are often expected to accomplish super-human tasks in inhumane amounts of time. This tension impacts more than just classroom dynamics; teachers' personal relationships, mental health, and physical health are all vulnerable to the stress of the profession. Join Jess Cleeves, educator, counselor, and supporter-of-teachers, for an activity that will build a conceptual framework for strategic self-care. Bring your calendars, be ready to do some writing (don't worry, your work will stay confidential), and close the session with a clear vision of how you'll move from coping to caring, from surviving to thriving. Educators in all settings and all experience levels welcome to attend.
